RON 'BUMBLEFOOT' THAL, 'METAL' MIKE CHLASCIAK Interviewed On 'Maximum Threshold'
June 27, 2010GUNS N' ROSES guitarist Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal and HALFORD guitarist "Metal" Mike Chlasciak were interviewed on the June 26 edition of the "Maximum Threshold" show. The program is now available for streaming using the audio player below.
Thal released an acoustic EP titled "Barefoot" in December 2008. Bumblefoot's first collection of acoustic recordings, "Barefoot" sees the guitarist re-interpreting his own songs in a stripped-down bare form. It features versions of songs from various Bumblefoot albums performed in an intimate, revealing way unlike they've ever been heard before.
Bumblefoot in 2008 inked a deal with DEEP/BCD Music Group. His latest full-length CD, "Abnormal", was made available in October 2008. The DEEP/BCD Music Group version of the album includes an exclusive bonus track not available anywhere else.
Kevin Talley (DAATH, MISERY INDEX, DYING FETUS, HATE ETERNAL) recently completed tracking all the drum parts for HALFORD guitarist "Metal" Mike Chlasciak's upcoming solo album, "The Metalworker".
The first headlining show from "Metal" Mike Chlasciak and his solo band, which took place Saturday, May 22 at Dingbatz Club in Clifton, New Jersey, was filmed for the "Project: American Studio" documentary series. In addition, Chlasciak joined German power metallers PRIMAL FEAR on stage at the Blender Theater in New York City on May 20 and at Jaxx in Springfield, Virginia on May 21 to perform a cover version of the JUDAS PRIEST classic "Metal Gods".
Mike's solo band:
